Which PA municipalities deviate from the standard 1%?
As a general rule of thumb, PA Realty Transfer Tax is
2% of the sales price, divided as 1% to the state and 1% to the local government.
Some municipalities deviate from the 1%. Here is a list of exceptions for transactions
that take place on or after July 1, 2025.
